Common questions

My map is missing places I have been. LifeMap can only see photographs that recorded a location. Photos taken with location services turned off, screenshots, and images saved from the web may carry no coordinates, so they cannot appear.

A line crosses somewhere I have never been. LifeMap connects consecutive photo locations. Incorrect photo metadata can produce a route that never happened; LifeMap filters implausible points, but a plausible-looking error can survive. You can remove an incorrect point from Profile.

Why can I only see the last twelve months? The free version shows a rolling year. Pro unlocks your full available history.

How do I delete my account? Open Profile, choose Delete Account, and confirm. This removes your LifeMap account and data without changing your Photos library. App Store subscriptions are managed separately through Apple.
